Police have arrested a 72-year-old man in connection with a double homicide which took place on Tuesday night in the area known as il-Kunċizzjoni, limits of Rabat.
On site, the police found two men aged 51 and 57 with injuries allegedly caused by a firearm. A medical team certified both men dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the victims are related to the alleged aggressor through his partner’s family.
Duty Magistrate Dr Joe Mifsud LL.D has been informed and appointed an inquiry, whilst police investigations are ongoing.
