A man wanted in connection with robbery that took place on the 23rd February 2020 in Sliema has been extradited to Malta and is expected to be charged in court later today.
The man was arrested in Italy following the issue of a European Arrest Warrant and was returned to Malta late Thursday night.
During the incident, two victims were attacked by two men on a motorbike. One of the assailants , got off the bike, snatched a branded watch from one of the victims, and fled the scene.
The other suspect, has already been arrested, charged, and sentenced to seven years imprisonment after being found guilty last December.
