Birkirkara were knocked out of the UEFA Conference League after losing 3-0 to FC Petrocub of Moldova in the second leg of the first qualifying round at the Stadionul Zimbru in Chisinau on Thursday.

A slender 1-0 home win was not enough for the Maltese side whose hopes of reaching the next round were snuffed out as FC Petreclub hit three while Birkirkara failed to find the net in this second leg.
