Update on the Incident in Triq Paceville, St Julian’s

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) wishes to confirm that the residents of the building that was evacuated have not only been assured alternative accommodation, but are also being provided with all necessary assistance to mitigate the consequences of this incident.

The Authority will continue to closely monitor the situation of all those who have been evacuated and will remain committed to supporting them throughout this difficult period. In this regard, regular contact is being maintained with the Local Council to ensure that the necessary assistance is effectively coordinated.

All those affected are being offered, not only technical and legal support through the services of architects and lawyers, but also professional emotional support as required, to address the emotional impact of this experience on those affected.
