Prime Minister Robert Abela has stressed that security and resilience are linked and reiterated the need for a commitment towards more effective cooperation that will lead not only to solidarity but also to stability on the European continent.
The Prime Minister was attending the 6th Summit of the European Political Community in Tirana, Albania where he reiterated once again the importance of working towards lasting peace in Ukraine and the Middle East.
In relation to the discussion on security, the Prime Minister also stated that the European continent must be more proactive in turning the common challenges being faced into opportunities, including realities such as those of increasingly older populations, economic transformation and more intense global competition
