Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anġlu Farrugia, today signed the Book of Condolences following the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.
In his message, the Speaker paid tribute to Pope Francis as a radiant beacon of faith, a tireless messenger of hope, and a living testament to Christ’s boundless love. He expressed sorrow at the loss of a pontiff who inspired the world with mercy, humility, and courageous dialogue, and prayed that Pope Francis’ unwavering faith would continue to guide future generations.
The Speaker was received by His Excellency the Apostolic Nuncio, who conveyed his appreciation for this expression of solidarity and mourning.
