Spain and Portugal were hit by a massive power outage on Monday, leaving millions without electricity and throwing the countries into a blackout.
It is being reported that a freak weather phenomenon caused the power outage.
Transport services have been badly affected with airports, trains and metros not running.
Bank atm’s are out of action, internet and mobile phone services, lifts in buildings, pumps at petrol stations and electric charging points for cars all hit.
Energy authorities say that power is slowly being restored to parts of the countries.
Spanish National Intelligence Centre has not ruled out the possibility of a cyberattack, while the Portuguese government has also suggested the same.
