Intensive investigations into thefts carried out from private residences in different localities around Malta, have led to the arrest of two men during their return to Malta after a trip abroad.
From investigations carried out, it turned out that the two men formed part of an international organised crime group and had fled the country shortly after carrying out the thefts.
However, the Police continued to follow their steps and will be charging them in court while investigations are ongoing.
