A woman died after she was crushed by her own car in St Julians. The incident happened in Triq L-Arċisqof Romero at around 5:30pm on Thursday afternoon.
The woman has been identified as 38-year-old Chantalle Gauci who lived in the town.
According to initial police reports the woman got out of the car which then started moving. She tried to stop the car but tragically died after being crushed by the vehicle.
A medical team rushed to the scene but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her daughter was reportedly inside the vehicle, and is said to be unharmed.
