National Youth Organisations Conference brings forward dialogue on how to continue to strengthen quality and sustainability in youth work

Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti

The fourth edition of the annual Youth Organisations conference was held with the theme “Sustaining Quality in Youth Organisations”, organised by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ. This conference brought together a number of organisations working towards the personal, social and civic development of young people to discuss how they can continue to improve the quality of their work and strengthen their impact on the community.

This year’s edition took place in a particularly significant context as it forms part of the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of Eurodesk, a European network that promotes opportunities for young people and professionals in youth work. Thanks to the continued support of Erasmus+ and Eurodesk, and with the enduring commitment of Aġenzija Żgħażagħ, the conference offered a space for reflection and exchange of ideas between those who work directly with the youth community.

Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti addressed the conference and thanked the organisations present for their valuable work. “Quality in our work with young people is not a single goal that is achieved and left there. It is a commitment over time, it is a shared responsibility, and it is a process that requires continuous reflection and a willingness to keep improving,” said the parliamentary secretary. He also reminded that as a government, the commitment to young people remains strong and clear. “We want to see the wealth we create delivered in a concrete way in opportunities for growth and development for every individual, especially for our young people,” added the parliamentary secretary.
