Two arrested on drugs charges in separate police operations

Drugs find at airport and Sliema
Police anti-drug efforts lead to the arrest of two men in separate operations at the Airport and Sliema.
In the first case, a man was arrested during routine inspections at Malta International Airport after he was found in possession of 20 kgs of substance allegedly cannabis. The drugs were found in several packets which were hidden in his suitcases.
In another case, the police were investigating a packet containing 2kgs of substance suspected to be cannabis which arrived by post and was addressed to the man in Sliema.
Both men are expected to appear in court shortly.
