Minister Jo Etienne Abela explained how in this project the Maltese Medicines Authority is helping Montenegro so that the systems and regulations of this authority are in line with those of the EU. “This is a very important step for Montenegro and our country is happy to be helping this country achieve its goals,” reiterated Minister Abela.

Head of the Maltese Medicines Authority, Prof. Anthony Serracino Inglott, said that our country will be instrumental in helping Montenegro regulate this sector, and that this initiative has already begun to work successfully as a number of inspectors from Montenegro came to Malta and carried out inspections in one of the medicines factories in our country.
