During a gathering of Labour supporters in Gharghur on Monday evening, Prime Minister Robert Abela said the government would be covering the cost for families to receive IVF treatment at the private sector.
He said that IVF treatment was another promise the government had kept but that now the number of people needing the treatment has grown. Therefore, the government decided that rather than have families endure a lengthy wait, the government pay for their treatment and medicines.
