Two police officers saved an elderly woman’s life after they got her out of her home in Gudja which had caught fire.
On Thursday evening, the police officers responded to the call and upon arriving, they entered the residence, made their way to the upper level, and found the woman who appeared to be suffering from smoke inhalation.
After the officers took the woman out of the house, a medical team from Mater Dei Hospital provided medical assistance and members from the Civil Protection Department brought the fire under control.
