On Thursday morning, Prime Minister Robert Abela visited the Prison Bakery where he could see the work in progress by the officers of the Correctional Services Agency and the prisoners where they were preparing the products, such as the bread of the apostles, to be sold in front of the Kordin Correctional Facility.
Mill-Forn tal-Habs is an initiative that assists in the rehabilitation process of people who are serving a sentence, so that they even acquire new skills that they can use even when they are reintegrated into society.
The Prime Minister was surrounded by the CEO of the Correctional Services Agency Christopher Siegersma, where he even visited the place where the products were being sold. He spoke to the officers and prisoners present where he praised the work being done for this initiative.
During the visit, the Prime Minister Robert Abela was also accompanied by the Minister for the Interior, Security and Work Byron Camilleri.
