A new tourist attraction ‘The Żebbuġ Heritage Trail’ has been launched, through which the Malta Tourism Authority and the Żebbuġ Local Council will be working together to offer tourists the opportunity to explore the – the historical, cultural and religious heritage that the said locality offers.
The Malta Tourism Authority will be assisting the Local Council by introducing new signs around Zebbug as well as maps and more information about this location on the official VisitMalta website.
These details were announced in a news conference addressed by the Minister for Tourism and Public Cleanliness Clayton Bartolo in the presence of the Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority Gavin Gulia, the Mayor of Zebbug Mark Camilleri and the councilors of the same Council.
Minister Clayton Bartolo pointed out how these types of initiatives continue to spread the wide range that our country is able to offer in the tourist world. “Malta is capable of being one tourist zone. In locations that are not traditionally touristic we are already seeing the introduction of boutique hotels and restaurants. In light of this trust among the private sector, we are doing our part so that every village or town has a holistic tourist product for every visitor,” stated Minister Bartolo.
