Financing helped in the efficiency of a company in the carriage of goods

The company C&C Express, with years of experience in the carriage of goods and logistics, implemented a project partially co-financed by European funds, through which it increased the daily efficiency of its operation.
Through these funds the company is expanding its range of services and has become more resilient to face new challenges in the industry in the coming years. Through this project, C&C Express Ltd, invested in a Dual X Ray Machine, a conveyor system and an EDT machine, through which it is greatly minimizing the time of handling and manual processing, to shorten the delivery times, and to increase the cut-off time. This project will also allow the company to provide new services, such as the shipping of dangerous goods and temperature-controlled journeys.
The Minister for the Economy, European Funds and Lands, Silvio Schembri said that through the European funds we are helping the industry move further towards digitization and automation. “Technology and innovation are helping and facilitating life in various economic sectors. Through technology we can increase efficiency and increase our productivity as a country”, said Minister Schembri.
Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds Chris Bonett said that this company is clear proof of how European funds are making a positive and tangible difference in the operation of their beneficiaries. “As the directors of this company explained to us, the financial aid provided by the Business Enhance scheme, gave them the courage to make the necessary changes, changes that we as government encourage businesses to make. We encourage them because in this way work increases and wealth increases and the economy continues to move forward.”
