“We are living in a Mediterranean region that is being hit hard by climate change. A phenomenon that has become a reality today and therefore it is necessary that both Malta and Italy work together more so that the Mediterranean remains among the most competitive regions in the tourist world,” said the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo during a bilateral meeting with the Minister for Tourism of Italy, Daniela Santanchè in Baveno.
The Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo said that the declaration signed earlier this week at the Mediterranean Tourism Forum Ministers’ Summit must be an action plan through which Malta, Italy and the rest of the participating countries work more together especially in facilitating sustainable practices and cooperation in the digital world. This bilateral meeting took place during the Forum Internationale del Turismo in Baveno, Italy.
