School children invited to design the Christmas card that will be sent by the Office of the Prime Minister

This year the students in the schools of Malta and Gozo are invited to design a Christmas card with a message to then choose the official cards that the Office of the Prime Minister will be sending as greetings for the holidays.
Dr. Lydia Abela, who announced this initiative among schools, encouraged children between the ages of four and twelve to participate. “A postcard with a message is a wonderful gift”, said Dr Abela and she points out that children are once again being trusted to be the artists of the postcards issued by the Office of the Prime Minister. “We want to involve as many children as possible in this wonderful gesture that brings joy”, said the Prime Minister’s wife.
Each participating school will be choosing two postcards with a design and a message from different age categories, then a selection board led by the Maltese Council for the Arts will choose the official postcards for this Christmas from among the submissions from schools. For the winners there are prizes such as resources for art, tickets for the festival of Zigużajg and the 2023/2024 season of Spazju Kreattiv.
The postcard submissions before the Maltese Arts Council will then be exhibited in Spazju Kreattiv. The submissions from the schools must be sent to the Maltese Council for the Arts by December 1 and according to criteria sent to the schools.
