Parliamentary Secretary for Social Dialogue Andy Ellul announced that the applications for Premju Nazzjonali Ħaddiema tas-Sena 2023, are now open. Once again, this prestigious award will be presented under the patronage of the President of Malta, recognising the exceptional contributions of Maltese and Gozitan workers.
Parliamentary Secretary Ellul reiterated that this government has always had workers at the centre of its policy. He stated that the government is committed to implementing more laws that truly safeguard and enhance working conditions.
The Parliamentary Secretary urged the public to participate and nominate those people who they think are worthy of winning the Premju Nazzjonali Ħaddiema tas-Sena 2023.
The Chairperson of the Selection Board – Premju Nazzjonali Ħaddiema tas-Sena 2023, Angela Agius, announced that apart from the main award, there will be eight additional categories.
These categories are:
o manager/head of the year;
o team of the year;
o most inclusive organisation;
o that organisation which promotes balance between work and private life;
o that company which promotes the most social responsibility;
o best entrepreneur;
o most inspiring young leader; and
o lifetime achievement.
Nominations for Premju Nazzjonali Ħaddiema tas-Sena 2023 are open until Friday 10 November. One can submit their nominations online by visiting www.premjuhaddiematassena.com.
Once the application period is concluded, the selection board, consisting of independent members, will assess and decide the winners in each category. The announcement of the winners will take place during a ceremony scheduled for December 15th, held under the patronage of President of Malta George Vella.
