A 72-year-old man from Fgura was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Zejtun, police report.
The accident happened in Bormla Road, Zejtun shortly after 7.30 on Monday morning.
The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where his injuries were described as serious.
