European Parliament President Roberta Metsola told Nationalist Party supporters that Malta needed their party to get the country back on the right track.
Speaking at the PN Independence Celebrations, she said Malta needs politicians who lead by example but carefully steered away from mentioning any recent allegations that have hit the headlines in recent weeks.
Cheered on by adoring supporters she told them that “Yesterday’s solutions were good for yesterday’s challenges. We are here because we want to shape the future”.
