A terror suspect, who escaped from prison last Wednesday, has been arrested in West London, police said.
21-year-old Daniel Khalife, a former soldier, was apprehended by plain clothes officers at a canal in the Chiswick area – about four miles from Wandsworth prison, from where he escaped on Wednesday morning.
It is believed he escaped by hanging to the underneath of a food supply truck.
He had been on remand awaiting trial on charges under the Terrorism Act and another under the Official Secrets Act.
