More than 600 people have died in an earthquake in Morocco, officials sai.
The earthquake, measuring 6.8 on the Ricter scale, struck just before midnight Friday.
Many of those killed lived in or around the city of Marrakech. Officials fear the death toll may rise as hard to reach areas south of the city.
