The strong winds and heavy rains that have swept across Greece and Italy this week seem to have bypassed the Maltese Islands.
The Met Office had earlier this week issued strong winds warnings but these now appear to have eased with isolated showers and wind forecast for the next twenty four hours. This will then be followed by clearer, warmer weather with temperatures expected to again reach around 31c.
