In separate operations by police, officers discovered drugs and a large number illegal migrants.
After several days observing a warehouse in Marsa police raided the building and found 385 sachets of cocaine; 250 heroin sachets; and 45 sachets of synthetic cannabis, all ready to sell in small bags. One person was arrested. They also found a considerable amount of cash, a motor that was reported stolen, an iron fist, a knife, as well as a number of mobiles, a cctv device were stolen cameras, as well as other items related to drug trafficking.
In a separate operation in Marsa, police found 67 migrants living illegally in Malta.
They were detained and taken to a detention centre to await deportation.
