Hawaii wildfires: Death toll reaches 80

At least 80 people are now reported to have died in fwildires that swept the Hawaiian island of Maui.

Firemen are still battling the fires which broke out a few days ago due t the strong winds cause by hurricane Dora which passed through the state of Hawaii.

The Coast Guard reported picking up people from the water after they had jumped into the sea to escape the fires.

Wildfires on Hawaii’s Maui island and neighbouring Big Island began on Tuesday night though authorities still do not know that caused them.
