A woman from Paola was seriously injured when the car she was driving was involved in a collision with a forklifter in Mqabba.
Three children and a male passenger in the car were not injured.
Police said the collision happened in Valletta Road in the town at 6.15pm on Thursday.
The injured woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
