The €1,000 a year scheme, for a 10 year period, has been extended until the end of September for first-time buyers who bought a property in 2022.
The Ministry for Social and Affordable Accommodation confirmed in a statement that more than 2,700 first-time buyers who bought a property last year received the first annual payment of one thousand euros. The Ministry said that the Government will be investing more than €27 million for those who became first-time home owners in 2022.
