In the margins of the international conference on development and immigration that was held in Rome, Prime Minister Robert Abela had bilateral meetings with the Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, and with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed.
With the Libyan leader, Prime Minister Abela spoke about the latest agreement signed between Malta and Libya which paves the way for interconnection for the supply of renewable energy and noted that now the phase of technical discussions is important to carry out the implementation.
Speaking with the Ethiopian prime minister, Dr. Abela said that he looks forward to the implementation of what was discussed in a meeting that Abiy Ahmed had in our country in the past months. Mention was made of the aviation agreement signed between the two countries after talks in Malta.
