Five arrested in connection with death of Jean Paul Sofia to appear in court today

Five people arrested on Friday in connection with the death of Jean Paul Sofia are to appear in court today.

Since the day the incident happened, police investigations have not stopped. These intensive investigations were being carried out hand in hand with the Magisterial Inquiry.

After the conclusion of the Magisterial Inquiry led by Dr. Marseann Farrugia LL.D and the arrests of five people on Friday evening, in the last hours the investigators gathered enough evidence to bring to Court two project developers; two contractors and the Architect of the project. They will be accused of unintentionally causing the death of a 20-year-old man and causing serious injuries to other people, among other charges.
