The Marigold Foundation continues its advocacy work on Autism by its ongoing collaboration with APA and The Meeting Place

Autism and people on the spectrum have been one of the causes supported actively by The Marigold Foundation.  For the past 8 years Marigold has lobbied for the Safe Space Initiative – providing safe spaces for those on the spectrum during the summer months.
As from 12th July, the ground at The Meeting Place will be open for families on the Autism Spectrum who need a safe open and yet enclosed space to let their children run and play freely while they get a few quiet moments to themselves.
During a press briefing, The Marigold Foundation presented The Parents Association of Children with Autism, with their annual commitment towards the cause. This collaboration which now runs into it’s ninth year  ensures that APA keeps working for the benefit of their family members but also be part of the European platform as member  of Autism Europe. Marigold is also Global Ambassador for the  World Wide Light it Up Blue Campaign and continues to advocate on behalf of APA and  other  persons on the spectrum.
