The rebel forces of the Wagner Group, a private army fighting for Russia against Ukraine, have halted their march on Moscow and returned to their bases.
In a message from the Belarusian Presidential offices, it was announced that Yevgeny Prigozhin has agreed to de-escalate the situation in Russia and he and his men were move to Belarus where they would not be prosecuted in a deal approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
