An Italian man has been arrested after police found 54kg of cannabis in a residence in St Paul’s Bay following days of intensive police investigations.
The 48-year-old man was taken to the police lock-up in Floriana and is due to appear in court shortly.
The drugs have a street value of around €880,000.
