A man lost his life after getting into difficulties while diving near Xatt l-Aħmar, Għajnsielem, police reported.
The accident happened around 6.15 on Friday evening.
A medical team from Gozo General Hospital tried to help the diver, a 67-year-old German national but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.
