A would-be thief was caught red-handed when police were called to shop in Paola late on Sunday evening.
Officers were called to the shop in Zabbar road at 9pm where they found the suspect threatening the cashier with a knife. The suspect ran from the shop but was chased by officers who had to use tasers to subdue him.
