Nationalist Party planning protest outside parliament tonight

Ahead of a planned protest outside parliament tonight, the Nationalist Party is believed to be holding an urgent meeting of it’s Parliamentary Group at the party’s headquarters in Pieta.

The call for a protest was made on Tuesday by Opposition Leader Bernard Grech in the wake of a report from the National Audit Office which criticized Labour’s handling of the Vitals-Steward hospitals privatisation deal.

On Wednesday more accusations were leveled against the Labour government revealed following media reports that former prime minister Joseph Muscat is being investigated with regards to a payments from Swiss company, SpringX Media and and Accutor Consulting, with the former originally called VGH Europe.
