‘Police Recruitment Open Day’ at Ta’ Kandja

 On Saturday, May 20, a ‘Recruitment Open Day’ will be organized for all those who are interested in joining as constables within the Police Force. Those interested can reach the Rapid Intervention Unit (RIU) / Special Complex Intervention Unit (SIU), in Ta’ Kandja, between nine in the morning (0900hrs) and the hour of afternoon (1300hrs), where one can find out more about police work.

During the open day there will be officials from the Department of Human Resources who will be there respond to questions that may be asked, as well as information will be given about the process of recruitment, the benefits of being a member of the Police Force, as well as information about the training that is given, both during recruitment and throughout the career in the Police Force.

Those who will attend will be able to meet officers from various sections, including from the RIU, SIU, K9, Mounted, Traffic, Community Policing, Cyber Crime and from the Laboratory of Forensic Science. They can also try devices related to Police work, including the firearm simulator and even try the Physical Test which is done as part of the requirements to be recruited as a recruit.
