Investments in Gozo with more job opportunities for Gozo

Prime Minister Robert Abela visited more investments that are being made in Gozo.
In Rabat he visited the renovated Arkadia complex where he met many workers working in different establishments while in Xaghra he visited an investment of €6.5 million made in a hotel called The Segond. In Arkadia the Prime Minister was surrounded by the management of the complex operated by the Mizzi Organization where it was explained how this is a commercial space not only sought after by Gowis but also by those who visit the island of the three hills.
The investment made in renovation was noted so that the complex continued to attract important business brands while the experience of customers and workers who are working in a nicer environment continued to improve. In the context that almost 250 people are working with the latest investment in Arkadia, Prime Minister Robert Abela explained the importance of growth and investment as a way to create more jobs. He said that the government remains focused on the important task of continuing to create quality jobs to continue improving the situation of workers even those in Gozo where the Gozos continue to find profitable work in Gozo itself.
In Xaghra, at the boutique hotel The Segond, Prime Minister Robert Abela noted the trust in the country through investment in the hospitality sector. In fact the management of SmartGroup Malta, which invested in this hotel and with which it created 21 other jobs, pointed out how the time of the pandemic was a challenging one but believed in the potential of the tourist market as well.

Gozo  has picked up a strong performance again. In fact it was said how the last Easter period showed a very positive trend for the island of Gozo. In the hotel which is run with a clean operation and consists of 51 rooms, nine of them with a private swimming pool, the Prime Minister Robert Abela explained that the government must continue to incentivize investment and give courage to everyone who is creates work so that workers have a better quality of life.
In both visits, the Prime Minister Robert Abela was accompanied by the Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri while the Government Deputy Abigail Camilleri accompanied Dr. Abela on the visit to Arkadia.
