Mater Dei Hospital categorically denies the story published on the Net News news portal with the title ‘Patient dies in the Emergency corridor after his old file was not found’.
Mater Dei Hospital can confirm that this story is a misleading rumor and that the hospital’s procedures at no time stop the patient’s care or prevent the patient from being admitted to a ward due to procedures related to -patient file.
The Ministry of Health condemns a fictitious report which, in addition to creating alarm among the public, puts an ugly light on the workers of the Emergency Department of the Mater Dei Hospital, who work day and night to save lives.
The Ministry of Health takes this opportunity to thank all the Emergency workers for their service.
