At the end of his participation in the Conference of Speakers and Presidents of Commonwealth Parliaments (CSPOC) which was held inside the Parliament of Australia between 3 and 6 January 2023, the Speaker of the Parliament Maltese AnĆglu Farrugia had the opportunity to meet several members of the Maltese community who are in the country.
He met these Maltese at the High Commission of Malta in Canberra, as well as at the La Valette and Hamrun clubs in Sydney. The Speaker thanked these Maltese people and their respective organizations that through their work, activities and interests remain so closely linked to Malta.
These meetings were possible with the help of the High Commissioner of Malta in Canberra Mario Farrugia Borg and the Consul General of Malta in Sydney Lawrence Buhagiar.
