Prime Minister Robert Abela visited a main establishment of the Chef’s Choice Ltd company in Marsaskala. A company that, with the investment it made, today has nine establishments spread across the Maltese and Gozitan islands.

During the visit, the Prime Minister was able to observe the growth and investment in the infrastructure made by the management of the company, which with an investment of €6 million in the last four years, today operates 100 worker, a number that is expected to increase by 50 in the coming time.

Regarding these results and positive prospects, the Prime Minister reiterated that this is a Government that believes in Malta’s potential and that its work is focused on the country continuing to grow, strengthen and create new opportunities. The Prime Minister explained that as evidenced by the measures announced in the budget, the greater the challenges, the greater the need to continue to be with families and businesses and that is why the Government is continuing to help the families and assist businesses. Businesses that, unlike those in other countries, have the peace of mind of stable energy prices.

The Managing Director, Joseph Mizzi, thanked the Prime Minister for his visit and for the trust that the Government has always shown in the private sector. In this context, Mr. Mizzi made reference to the number of new stores that the company is committed to opening next year; a strong testimony of the confidence that private business is showing in the country and a sense of recognition of the wise decisions that the Government is taking so that businesses continue to roam.
