A man was arrested in Qawra after police found dozens of packets of what they believed to be heroin and cocaine in his car.
An officer on patrol became suspicious of a car in Annetto Caruana Street on Monday morning and while trying to get the drivers details, decided to search the car. He found the packets, 19 of heroin and 27 cocaine.
The man, aged 37, was arrested and taken to the police depot in Floriana while further investigations continue.
