The long-running saga of the Hondoq project reached a conclusion when the Planning Tribunal today denied an application by the developer who had presented plans in 2002 for a yacht marina, a hotel and commercial outlets, among others.
The Planning Authority Board had, in 2016, unanimously voted against the application for a major development project at Ħondoq ir-Rum mien in Gozo.
The decision has been welcomed by residents and environment groups as well as the Labour Party and the Nationalist Party.
