An 85-year-old man from Luqa was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Tuesday morning.
Police said that the driver left the scene and they are searching for the car and driver.
The accident happened in Triq Ċensu Decandia, Luqa, at 5.30 this morning.
The injured man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
In the same incident two parked cars sustained some damage.
