In a press conference following the Budget, Prime Minister Robert Abela said the Budget addresses the challenges facing the country and will pave the way for the future.
He mentioned that the government has introduced free public transport for everyone but admitted that more investment in traffic management was needed.
Prime Minister Abela was happy to see that no tax increases were in the Budget and measures announced by Finance Minister Clyde Caruana addressed social needs of the people.
