Strengthen the discussion on the National Youth Policy

Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti gives a speech at the opening of the 'A shared Vision' conference involving youth-related stakeholders

Aġenzija Żżażagħa organized a conference entitled ‘A Shared Vision’ as part of the national youth policy and in which the stakeholders who work with young people met.

During this conference, the continuous process of cooperation and coordination between governmental entities, stakeholders and individuals who work with young people was emphasized, with the aim of continuing to offer a quality service to young people, as well as continuing to be implemented the national youth policy.

The main objectives of this policy are to:

They effectively support and encourage young people to fulfill their potential and aspirations, while addressing their needs and concerns.
They effectively support young people as responsible citizens who participate and contribute to social, economic, political and cultural life at national and European level, as well as in addressing global issues.

During his speech, the Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation Keith Azzopardi Tanti stressed that through this conference the entities and individuals who work directly with young people in society have joined ours so that together we can continue to reach the goals of the national youth policy. “Each individual has different needs and therefore we must continue to work hard on a governance level, together with all the entities and individuals that work with young people,” stated Parliamentary Secretary Azzopardi Tanti.

The CEO of Aġenzija Żgħaġa, Miriam Teuma, said that “Aġenzija ħżżaġa will continue to work and engage with relevant entities, on a regular basis, with the intention of strengthening cooperation and providing the necessary support in the implementation of -national youth policy.”
