Hibernians FC can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Mr. Stefano Sanderra for the termination of his contract, as he will be joining S.S.Lazio Primavera in Italy.
Stefano joined Hibernians in Summer 2018, and in his first season with, he managed to force a championship decider and eventually finish as runners up in the BOV Premier League.
In Seasons 2019/20 and 2020/21, the league had been terminated due to Covid-19 situation in Malta, and on both occasions Hibs were fighting in the top places of the BOV Premier League, finishing 3rd and 2nd respectively.
Last season, Stefano led Hibs to a massive run in the European competitions as we qualified for the first time in the club’s history to the 3rd Round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. After our elimination from Europe, he managed to keep a consistent run to win the 13th League title for our club.
In total, Stefano managed our team for 120 matches, winning 74, drawn 20 and lost 26 games.
