A 39-year-old man from Birkirkara was seriously injured after losing control of his motorbike and falling off his bike in Mqabba.
The motorbike then continued to slide along the road before colliding with a car.
The injured biker was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
The accident happened at around 8pm on Monday night.
