The Stade de France in Paris is the setting for tonight’s Champions League Final between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
With two trophies already won this season, Liverpool will be bidding for a third, the biggest of them all in club football.
Standing in their way are Real Madrid, old foes and well known to the team from Liverpool. Four years ago, these two sides met in the same final and it was Real Madrid who emerged victorious.
This time many believe the current Liverpool side is much stronger in every department than that of 2018.
Carlo Ancelotti will be aiming to win the competition for a fourth time. Real Madrid are bidding to win the trophy for a 14th time, twice as many as any other club.
Liverpool are playing in their third Champions League final in five years, a feat described as “exceptional” by boss Jurgen Klopp.
